    Josh Childress
The Sixers like his ability to slide between multiple positions.

    9. Philadelphia 76ers — Andre Iguodala, SF, 6'6" 210 - The athletic swingman from Arizona would fill the same role for the Sixers, who need an athletic subsititution for the immobile and irritable Glenn Robinson. Iguodala isn't a great shooter, but his athleticism makes him deadly in transition (think Snow-Iverson-Iguodala). His NBA body and long wingspan also make him a good rebounder and a great defender.

    Andris Biedrins

One of the most promising big men prospects in Europe. Good defender, has size and wingspan as well as good timing in blocking (2nd in bpg in Latvia) and boarding. Not that polished yet on the offensive end, but scores consistently with both the drop-step and the turn-around jumper out to 10 feet. Has yet to add some inside moves, a more reliable outside shot and some pounds of muscle.

Notes: Member of the Latvian National Team at the Euro Cadet Championship in 2001, finished as 4th in scoring (16.3) and 3rd in rebounding (8.5). Also performed at the Euro Junior Championship 2002, where he played against opponents who were two years older than him, but still managed to average 6.6 points and 7.3 rebounds per game. He was named "Newcomer of the Year 03" in Latvias LBL.

    9. Philadelphia 76ers -- Shaun Livingston, PG, High School

Livingston is a long thin PG who can do magic with the ball. Livingston ball handling is awesome. He can knock down the jumper from 12 to 18 feet and he's a play maker. He is projected to go between 3 to 10 in the NBA Draft.

    Jameer Nelson

    NBA Comparison: Tim Hardaway

Strengths: Nelson was widely regarded as the best point guard in college basketball in 2004. He is strong, quick, intense and has a great basketball IQ…Equally strong going left or right, Jameer is excellent at running off screens and hitting the open J or finding the cutter for an open basket. His killer crossover has been well documented and is as good as advertised … He can shoot from anywhere on the court and is a very creative passer. His speed and strength make him a dynamic penetrator and his court awareness allows him to always find an opening or open teammate … An excellent rebounder for his position, making Jameer extremely effective at starting the fast break … Jameer is a determined scoring point guard who should find a strating spot in the League.

    Josh Smith

NBA Comparison: Vince Carter (with heart)

Strengths: Explosive athlete capable who can jump out of the gym … Has shown a more consistent jumper from 3-point range … Above average rebounder who uses his long arms and quick leaping ability to grab boards … Excellent finisher on the fast break where he really knows how to finish with flair and excitement … Defensively he understands how to play the passing lanes for easy steals … Shows a great sense of timing when he blocks … On his drives to the lane he has the body control and creativeness to maneuver through the lane even in traffic … Has really filled out this past season and now has the kind of body needed to play in the NBA … Does a great job of extending his body on his penetrations to get to the basket … Not a bad shooter from mid-range when he has he feet set … Still doesn’t show great court awareness during games as he tends to make costly mental mistakes … Potentially there are few in the draft with his kind of upside … Runs the court like a deer … Decent passer who is unselfish and sees the floor … Shows solid lateral quickness on defense …

Livingston is probably my number one choice for the 9 spot, but he will almost definitely be gone. If not, I have no idea who the Sixers should select.

I'd go with Josh Smith or Livingston if he wasn't available.

Yeah I'm leaning towards the high schoolers. Childress blows.
