There was no contact on the play; Asomugha turned in coverage and fell.
Asomugha was in considerable pain as he was helped out of the cart by Eagles trainer Rick Burkholder.
The Eagles said Asomugha tweaked his left knee pending further evaluation.
Eagles cornerback Joselio Hanson predicted Asomugha would practice Friday, the last full session before they take on the New England Patriots this Sunday.
"It looked bad but I think they said he's going to be alright," Hanson said. "So I'm expecting him to come back tomorrow and practice."
Echoing Hanson was Pro Bowl wide receiver DeSean Jackson, who returned to work after missing a day with a sprained foot.
"Status on Nnamdi," Jackson said. "He will play."
