  • Eagles 2011: Hollow Yards Champions

Get this...The Eagles are on a pace for 6,721 yards. That's more than EVERY Super Bowl winner EVER, and is the 7th-most in NFL history. (Got this via Reuben Frank.)

Further, no NFL team has ever averaged 400 yards per game and scored UNDER 25 points per game. The Eagles are at 420 per game, and averaging 23.4 points per game.

        Red-zone woes suck.

Well, at least that's better than being the salary cap champions, I think.

Yah right. That means their red zone efficiency must be historically bad, along with it.

Here's a tidbit that will make you puke, we're about to set another NFL record for most blown 4th quarter leads in NFL history. From CSN Philly.....

The Eagles are the 10th team in NFL history to blow five fourth-quarter leads in a season. If they do it once more, they’ll become the first team ever to fail to protect six fourth-quarter leads in the same season.

I think if we work harder, we can be the most inefficient offense ever. We just need to work harder.

Howie and Joe have been frantically working with the good people at MIT to try to find a way to implement (Norman) Einsteins theories on time to expand the work day to 30 hours.

Juan said that it takes time to develop a defense. I think we're gonna be really good in december. Might win half our games!
