  • Birds 24/7: Reid Hints That More Moves May Be Coming

A switch at quarterback, taking play-call duties away from Marty Mornhinweg and making other personnel changes are all still on the table.

Andy, it's not just the playcalling. It's your whole damned offensive philosophy. You taking over the play calling isn't going to change anything. Maybe you'll only pass the football 50 times a game instead of 55, but this has always been your offense, regardless of who was calling the plays.

It is your philosophy itself that is flawed. And, we all know you are far too set in your ways to change that.

Agree, generally Andy is in the passing lane as much as Marty. Now, if Andy has asked him to work more running into the game plan and he hasn't then Andy has some reason to take back the PC duties.
Wait until next year is a terrible philosophy
        Hope is not a strategy

Funny how bad Andy's system has been lately...ranked in the top in the league for so long. Take away one players multiple turnovers and you have a top 3or 4 offense again this year. But we all know more than one of the most respected coaches in the game.

Do any of those moves involve Andy Reid permanently leaving the Eagles' training complex?

A part of me wonders if he will walk away after this season, considering all of the turmoil so far that started with the painful loss of a loved one this past summer. Perhaps the events of the past day are not so much a sign of desperation as some have contended. Maybe he has decided to go full speed ahead torpedoes be damned, and let the chips fall where they may in this, his last season before walking away on his terms?

Thank you. The best move Andy could make right now is to fire himself and let Lurie clean house.
