  • Eagles are the healthiest, Gnats the unhealthiest.

In a study based on 'adjusted games lost' the Birds were found to be the most healthy NFL team over the past 2 years (strangely enough, coinciding with Kelly's tenure as HC) and the Gnats, under Old Blood and Guts being the unhealthiest over that same time span.

This will undoubtedly turn into a jinx!

In an as yet unpublished study completed by the Boy Scouts of America that covered the same 2 year period, the Eagles also finished 1st among all NFL teams in the following categories:Trustworthy, Loyal, Helpful, Friendly, Courteous, Kind, Obedient, Cheerful, Thrifty, Brave, Clean, and Reverent.

As would be expected by anyone with a pulse, the team from Dallas finished dead last in this 2nd study.

When it all shakes out, health and luck probably are the two biggest difference makers in a successful season.

It's a collision sport. I tend to think injuries come down to luck. Yes, conditioning plays a role, but guys tear knees up and stuff without even getting touched. What I do think, however, is that the sports science program results in fresher players as the season wears on. That may impact injuries.

It's too small a sample size, but if that trend continues eventually other teams are going to start playing copy-cat.

This story is complete bullshit. Cary Williams said they were all exhausted and worn out and ineffective at the end of the season. So that proves it, so there!!
