Yeah, it's impossible to stay sober when you're with a drinker. The guy just doesn't give a shit I guess. He'll probably be the star of one of those Lifetime movies before he's done.

I won't be the least bit surprised the day I hear he hit a tree and killed himself or someone shot his sorry ass.

Police look into incident between Johnny Manziel and girlfriend

        • It's not even February, and Johnny Manziel has been in the news way too much this offseason.
First, he was spotted partying in Dallas. Which for any other NFL player is no big deal, so maybe he should get a pass for that. But then on Saturday morning, news broke that police in Fort Worth were called in to investigate an incident between the Cleveland Browns quarterback and his ex-girlfriend. There were no arrests. David Watkins of NBC5 in Dallas/Fort Worth first reported the news. In an email to CBS News' Omar Villafranca, Fort Worth police confirmed the incident and described it as an "altercation."
Fort Worth police released a report to media. Via the Cleveland Plain Dealer, a 23-year-old female (identified by the Plain Dealer as Colleen Crowley, Manziel's girlfriend at the time of another incident last October) stated "she was involved in a disturbance with her ex-boyfriend." The report said the "complainant was uncooperative with officers on scene."
"The complainant also advised our officers of concerns that she had regarding the well-being of her ex-boyfriend," the report said. Officers tried tracking Manziel down, even using a police helicopter, and it "was later determined by officers that the ex-boyfriend was safe and in no danger." The report said the Fort Worth Police Department "is actively working with Dallas PD to determine if a criminal offense occurred."
Even though he wasn't arrested or charged, at some point Manziel has to avoid situations that put him in a bad light. The Browns seem close to cutting him, even though owner Jimmy Haslam says the relationship can be fixed. All other signs point to the Browns being done with the 22nd pick of the 2014 draft. What team will want Manziel as a free agent? He hasn't shown he can be a quality starter in the NFL. He has physical limitations he might never get over, and doesn't appear willing to commit to putting in the preparation time needed to be a great quarterback. When you combine a questionable skill set with the constant off-field circus, teams aren't going to want to deal with that.
Manziel needed to have a quiet offseason (we've heard that before, of course). The Denver Broncos and Carolina Panthers haven't even left for Super Bowl 50, and Manziel is already in the news for more nonsense. It's probably a decent bet it won't be the last time that happens, either.

Sounds like the broad is a drama queen too!!

Texas police searched for Johnny Manziel with helicopter

Texas police searched for Johnny Manziel with a helicopter early Saturday morning and are investigating allegations that he assaulted his ex-girlfriend, Mary Kay Cabot of the Cleveland Plain Dealer reports.

According to a statement by the Forth Worth police, they used their Air One Unit helicopter to try to find Manziel because the female -- who told police Manziel was her ex-boyfriend -- was worried about his well-being.
They tried several of his cell phone numbers and checked locations around the Forth Worth area, but couldn't find him. It was later determined that he was safe and in no danger.

But police in Fort Worth and Dallas are still working together to determine if Manziel assaulted the female. Dallas police said in a statement that they're in the preliminary stages of the investigation and that they'll have no further information at this time.

"When additional information becomes available it will be released as appropriate,'' they said.

It's the second time Manziel is being investigated for possible domestic violence. The first time was Oct. 13 when he was involved with an argument on Interstate 90 with his then-girlfriend Colleen Crowley, which then spilled over to the side of the road in Avon, Ohio. Crowley told police that Manziel beat her and shoved her head into the glass of the car, but later said he didn't hurt her.

Neither Manziel nor Crowley, who was drunk at the time of the questioning, were arrested for the incident. Manziel was also later cleared by the NFL of harming Crowley.

In this instance, Fort Worth police were called to The Berkeley Apartments near Texas Christian University -- where Crowley is a student -- regarding a report of a possible assault. They didn't locate the caller, but came across a 23-year-old woman who said she been involved in a disturbance with her ex-boyfriend earlier that night in Dallas and possibly other locations.

Police found the female to be uncooperative, and therefore couldn't determine where the incident took place. They notified the Dallas police of a possible disturbance in that area.

The woman then told police she was worried about Manziel's well-being, and they launched the search for him, breaking out the helicopter when they couldn't reach him by phone or by land. After determining that Manziel was safe, they began collaborating with the Dallas police on whether or not he had assaulted the female.

He's made so many dumb mistakes that one of these times he's gonna get burnt. Even if he did no wrong.

There are over 250,000 kids playing in Pop Warner leagues in the US each year. There are about 37,000 high school in the US. If only half of them have football teams that's over 665,000 kids at the high school level playing in any given year. With 128 Division 1 schools with 85 players each we have almost 11,000 college kids playing. The NFL drafts just 256 players each year and more than half of them never make the team. If we are generous and say that half of all the drafted players earn a roster spot that would be 128 players in any year that make it to the NFL. The odds of going from high school player to college are 1.6 in 100. The number of high school players who make it to the NFL are 1.9 in 10,000 or 5,200 to 1 odds. Manziel not only beat those odds but became one of the top rated players in the draft beating odds that make winning the lottery more likely. And he's going to throw it away because he's a drunk who abuses women? Calling him a stupid piece of shit is insulting to piles of dog shit everywhere.
