  • (OT) RIP Keith Emerson

of Emerson, Lake and Palmer. Died today at the age of 71

We're looking for people that are fundamentally different,” vice president of player personnel Andy Weidl said Saturday night. “The love and passion for football, it's non-negotiable. They're caring, their character, they do the right thing persistently, and they have a relentless playing style that you can see on tape. The motor, it burns hot. You see them finishing plays. They have a team-first mentality. They're selfless individuals.

ELP was a favorite of mine. Much dubagge consumed listening to them.Really sorry to learn of Emerson's death. Apparently self-inflicted GSW.
It sucks when anyone's life is so unendurable that they turn to suicide.

    Very, very sad. RIP.

"Fanfare for the Common Man" is one of my favorite songs of theirs. Very sad to hear of his death and even sadder that it may have been suicide.

ELP was at the roots of prog rock. So sorry to hear of Emerson's passing.
