not a ton of difference, but a subtle one

seems like he's gone from 3/4 side arm to straight over the top and quicker

I noticed that too MM, but he still has a little left in him but it is much better. I also noticed a nice side armed throw when he needed it.It also seems like he's has a quicker release too and got rid of his windup.
