Wonder what it would be like to run the same HC and OC for three or four years. I bet Jalen Hurts wonders the same thing. Hurts has faltered and I have beaten him up but damn he has had no luck in having the same OC or playcaller. That can’t be good for the confidence or mind

If AJ hung on to the ball we wouldn't be having this conversation. If I were running the show I would sit down our injured offensive lineman until they are healthy and hope we make the playoffs with wthe players that we have left. Even if we win the division with the team we have now they can't physically compete with the better teams with the health situation that we are in now.Last edited by Eagle60; 12-12-2025, 08:37 AM."Hey Giants, who's your Daddy?"

This is one significant factor that I consider when I try to rationalize or understand the struggles on offense. It can't be helpful to the scheme in general or to Hurts specifically. This is also why I usually tend to give Hurts the benefit of the doubt.
And I agree with you E60 that if AJ makes just one of those catches, all other things being equal we wouldn't be having discussions about this. I liked the changes that I saw offensively in this past game. It was down to execution I guess. And of course, being beat up and injured is not helpful either.

Last year, it seemed like Jalen had time at the line to read the D and make checks to get us in the right play. We saw it in the NFCCG and Super Bowl on just about every play.
A lot of Saquon's big runs (and even of Jalen's) were checks at the line.
This year, we break the huddle and get to the line with less than 10 seconds and are snapping it with less than 3 more than any other team in the league. If you check the stats on this it is alarming. You can't tell me that Sirianni and Patullo aren't to blame for this mess.

I've been thinking the same thing, but haven't gotten around to say it spur. That is a huge problem. I can't believe that they haven't gotten that straightened out yet and that is directly on Siriani.Originally posted by rspurr View PostLast year, it seemed like Jalen had time at the line to read the D and make checks to get us in the right play. And all of this conversation is because Brown couldn't hang on to the ball. It could all go away if we win a few games. I don't think it will with battered up offensive line we have. That's probably not fair, but that's the way the NFL works. It sure sound like Siriani holds everybody accountable, but we just don't see it. We are only guessing from the outside.Originally posted by sfphillyfan View Post
Well I dont know how stubborn Nick is but I think Lurie will give Nick the choice to fire Patullo or both of them are gone. it's like the Press Taylor / Doug Peterson situation."Hey Giants, who's your Daddy?"

I have been thinking about this. The Chargers game I really liked the offense. The execution was the issue and the biggest issue is the Oline. What if they do bring Patullo back to keep some continuity and build on it. Get a healthy O line and replace Steen with A returning Becton
