  • Corey Simon is Disgraceful at this Point

    http://www.indystar.com/apps/pbcs.dll/a ... 10428/1100

"It's not a big deal to us,'' Indianapolis Colts defensive tackle Montae Reagor said Saturday during a break from the team's three-day minicamp. "We thrive on being quick and fast and explosive. We can be disruptive that way.
"We don't want to be big slobs.''

    ----------------

Simon is one of 13 defensive linemen on the roster but the only one whose listed weight is at least 300 pounds. He declined to put a number of his weight but admitted he's still in the process of slimming down.
"I'm dropping some weight and I'm feeling a lot better,'' Simon said. "I've got a little ways to go.''
As to the notion size is a greatly overrated characteristic when it comes to a defensive lineman, Simon smiled.
"I don't know,'' he said. "I've never been small.''

I don't understand how you can let yourself go like that. I would want to be in my best shape so I could dominate. Sad. I guess he thinks his best shape is round.

    Nice pick-up Indy.

I hate everything the Cowboys stand for. If you think they are America's team, then you support everything that is wrong with America. The excess, the greed, the lack of maturity, the lack of responsibility, the lack of control. - Luzinski's Gut

He was my favorite player for several years...he had 17 sacks in his first two years in the league...and was solid for another 2 years before injuries, salary issues, weight etc. seemed to get the best of him...we got his best years, now he is just depth...I did like how he handled leaving town without taking the obligatory shots at the org, fans and city. I bet he will circle back at some point since he said he always loved playing here...

Yeah - I loved Simon but I just can't believe he'd get that fat.

I'm not accustomed to the new board yet - I keep waiting for E60 to pop up in this thread and defend Simon...
The definition of insanity is to continually repeat the same action and expect different results.

Thus the Redskins and their fans are, by definition, insane.

"Front office is so cheap - we could have used Simon last year"

              - How's that?

LurBan's pennypinching cost us our best DT. Without Simon you saw how Walker and Rayburn were useless. The same thing with those cheap mofos when they refused to pay Burgess who was only the best DE in the entire NFL. See what that did to Kearse!!!

                    NOT

Are we permitted under the new collective bargaining forum agreement to joke about those posters? Does that place us in "clicks"? Is it worse to be called a homo or a dumb poster?

Just checking, since the mods haven't sent me a list of the rules, nor have they warned me yet.

Oh, yeah!!! Simon is one slim sack machine........now-a-days. Did they really say he is a run-stopping specialist?

What's amazing is that Raheem Brock is now a starting tackle for Indy.
