    Per ESPN.com...

    CONSIDINE HEADED TO JAGUARS
The Jaguars have been looking for safeties through the draft and in free agency the past few years. On Friday, they reached a two-year deal with Eagles safety Sean Considine.
The former fourth-round pick of the Eagles agreed to a two-year, $3 million deal to leave the Eagles. He had been contacted by eight teams at the start of free agency. He picked Jacksonville as his first visit and the deal came together quickly.
Though he didn't start last season, Considine was considered a player on the rise in 2006 and 2007 when he had a total of 17 starts. His best season was in 2006 when he had 85 tackles in 16 games. He started in nine of those games.

    Per RotoWorld...

Free agent S Sean Considine is not expected back with the Jaguars.

Considine is a liability in coverage and gets run over easily. About the only thing he'll have going for him in free agency is starting experience on his resume.

I hate everything the Cowboys stand for. If you think they are America's team, then you support everything that is wrong with America. The excess, the greed, the lack of maturity, the lack of responsibility, the lack of control. - Luzinski's Gut

LOL! We could have given them that tidbit of info before they signed him.

We get Babin. They get Considine. That sounds fair.

Panthers agreed to terms with S Sean Considine on a one-year contract.

Considine was part of the Jaguars' disastrous secondary a year ago and won't be asked to start in Carolina. He does have first-team experience though, with 28 career starts under his belt.

Well, that didn't last long. The Panthers cut Considine this AM.

they couldn't justify a team seamstress to sew all the cleat holes in his jersey.
We're looking for people that are fundamentally different,” vice president of player personnel Andy Weidl said Saturday night. “The love and passion for football, it's non-negotiable. They're caring, their character, they do the right thing persistently, and they have a relentless playing style that you can see on tape. The motor, it burns hot. You see them finishing plays. They have a team-first mentality. They're selfless individuals.

Whew...My world is no longer turned upside-down...

                    Panthers re-signed S Sean Considine.

Considine's release on Monday had more to do with a numbers crunch than him losing his spot. He returns to a backup safety and special teams role while Stevie Brown was somewhat surprisingly released.
