  • Losing Players

    The Pats have lost

Ty Law - best cover corner in the game.

Joe Andruzi - tough nosed player, great leader for the o line, and has a great work ethic.

David Patten - Great hands, nice speed, but for 3.5 million a year, ha, good move skins. He is a 3rd reciever.

Roman Phifer - 37 years old, old, old, slow, but could still make tackles.

Tedy Bruschi, is the huge questionmark, I hope he just gets better 3 rings, he needs to do nothing more.

It is sad to see champions leave, but it is a part of the game. Good luck to all, but losing Andruzzi will be the toughest, his leadership and hustle was another key for the Pats.
    Gay for Brady, any day.

Yep the Pats lost all those players, and Troy Brown. The man that filled in whenever Belichick asked him too. Completely loyal to the team and he just gets cut.

But you are missing the biggest losses to the Pats. Romeo Crennel, the excellent defensive coordinator that helped Belichick plug up the holes in the secondary. And Charlie Weis, Tom Brady's mentor and the offensive coordinator. Belichick is a defensive coach and still hasn't appointed anyone to OC. Rumors are floatin around that Belichick might call the plays himself. I don't think his ego is that big to call plays for the weak side of the ball.

Troy Brown will be back, he was cut because of his 5 million cap hit.
