  • Attending any road games this year?

Have you guys put any thought into targeting any one road game this year? I have to say since I live in Houston now, The opener will be a must for me. Although for me that's not a road game. Tampa in October has a nice sound to it.
And obviously Dallas on Christmas, last year was the first year since coming to Texas in 93 that I can remember not going to the game at taexs stadium so I feel like I have to make it up.

A friend of a friend plays for the Saints. I'm hoping to get some tickets for that game.

My road trip will probably be local. My wife is pregnant and due early October which nixes any September road games because I don't want to be too far away in the last month and it nixes any long weekends due to the newborn. I'd love to go down and take over FedEx Field!

It's not exactly a road game for me but Eagles at Niners is one i might go to. There will be plenty of cheap tix in this town cause Niners suck.

Since I am in the San Antonio area, I am trying to get tickets to the season opener in Houston, which is only about a 3 hour drive.

So if anyone has good connections for decent priced tickets (I am looking for 4 or 5) let me know.

When I find mine I'll let you know,
FYI the regular season Texans tickets don't officially go on sale until June 22, and can only be purchased thru ticketmaster from what I understand. So you may be able to snag them first thing on the 22nd. I've printed up a stadium layout off of http://www.stubhub.com and there appears to be some decent seats from ticketholders available right now depending on your budget. I'll be checking with a local ticket agent to see if I can better those deals though. From what I have found out locally here the Texans bench is on west side of the stadium and visitors on the East side in other words the eagle side will be between sections 121 & 131

This is link to that page

I would think you could get them right up to game day but with the new regime in place people are excited down here about the first game so i wouldn't take too many chances. The reg season games haven't gone on sale yet. I'm not sure how good those seat will be. I'll probably wait until August to get mine though just becasue i'm not sure how many to get. Houston supplanted Philly as the fourth largest city in the U.S. so it's not a small town by any means

Mario Williams is a HUGE draw.

Man, if they can sell that, the marketing folks deserve a bonus.

I try to go to Fed Ex for the Redskin game especially since it seems to be on Sunday night football every year.
                        I miss Philly!

I'm hearing rumblings that the big travel game this year will be to New Orleans.

I might try to get to the game in Indianapolis. I would be up for an Eagles road trip if we could put one together that would be sweet.

If anyone ever has any extra tix in the Philly area be sure to let us all know.

Steve you have to give me some notice about things like this. Those bandwagon baby seats are hard to find and I need to arrange for a pit stop to install them -- especially once the season has started! Good luck to you and Mrs. Stevemc and remember Jukin is a great name for a kid! It's served me well for many years.
