  • Eagles-Cowboys to be televised instead of Redskins-Chargers in Norfolk & Richmond

FWIW, I have read elsewhere that the Eagles-Cowboys game will be televised in the Hampton Roads (Norfolk/Virginia Beach) and Richmond areas. These are areas that typically receive all Redskins games. The decision to not show the Redskins game in these areas, especially Richmond, is a big surprise to me. I can't help but smile though and laugh at the Redskins organization, especially Daniel Snyder, and the Redskins fans.

No one really had anything bad to say about the Eagles, that surprised me. They seem to have a hatred for the pukes almost equal to ours though.
We're looking for people that are fundamentally different,” vice president of player personnel Andy Weidl said Saturday night. “The love and passion for football, it's non-negotiable. They're caring, their character, they do the right thing persistently, and they have a relentless playing style that you can see on tape. The motor, it burns hot. You see them finishing plays. They have a team-first mentality. They're selfless individuals.

Great news, so now I don't have to decide if I should go over to an Iggles' friends home to watch with him and his Girls' friends. I just can't stop myself from f'n with Girls fans, but I was worried about upsetting friends of my buddy.

Yeah, unfortunately for those of us in the DC area, we need to hit the sports bar. The Baltimore Fox station is also required to show the Redskins-Chargers game due to secondary market TV rules. (WBFF Channel 45 must show all Redskins road games that aren't in some sort of conflict with a Ravens game. Because the Ravens are also playing a road game and Week 17 has the double-doubleheader on both Fox and CBS, there is no conflict and WBFF must show the Redskins at Chargers game.)

Lots of typical Green Bay area stations are showing the Birds per the506. Not sure if it is because they are showing the Vikings in the earlier game and are bound to do that or if it is choice.
Wait until next year is a terrible philosophy
