  • OT- MLB blackouts and Vegas

My Dad is coming to live with us for a while and is a big Phillies fan. So I figured I would order MLB Extra Innings so he could see them. Funny that I find out that Vegas is considered home for SIX friggin teams. Angels, Diamondbacks, Dodgers, Padres, Giants and the A's. None of these teams are THAT close. Seriously MLB?

Does anyone here know if the package will be worth it? Plus how often are the Phillies on in HD on Extra Innings? Thanks!

I hate everything the Cowboys stand for. If you think they are America's team, then you support everything that is wrong with America. The excess, the greed, the lack of maturity, the lack of responsibility, the lack of control. - Luzinski's Gut

I've had Direct TV for 11 yrs now and they WILL play ball, so to speak. Last year the MLB package was 4 payments of $50 for a total of $200. I spoke to the "Retention" department at Direct TV and said I wanted a better deal. They said how about 6 payments of $22, total $132 for the year. Great deal and well worth seeing the Phils 162 games.
Just last week I called to re-order and said I'd like the same deal for the MLB package. The girl said "I can do better than that, how about $18 for 6 months"? I said DEAL! It's less than the cost of going to one Game for my wife & I.
As long as you mention that you're "shopping" your provider Direct TV is easy to deal with. If you don't have Direct TV, look into it. Satellite & installation are free, they just want customers.
Get the MLB package & good luck.
Just give me ONE before I go!
