Buccaneers, Bears to play in London

The NFL isn't letting the labor situation dampen its European plans for the 2011 season.

Meet the key players behind the NFL's labor dispute.

The league announced Monday that the Tampa Bay Buccaneers will play the Chicago Bears in London. The Oct. 23 game will be at 1 p.m. ET on FOX.

This of course is predicated on the NFL owners and players agreeing to a new collective bargaining agreement. The previous agreement expired last month and then the owners locked out the players after the NFL Players Association decertified as a union.

If no agreement is reached by Aug. 1, the game will be played in Tampa Bay.

The league will announce the complete 2011 regular-season schedule Tuesday.

Absolutely, there is no reason to play in London, Mexico, Japan, or any other crap country/city. Continental US, that is where football should be played
Wait until next year is a terrible philosophy
      Hope is not a strategy
