  • "Heaven" forbid!

The Phillies heard the familiar sound of boos last night, but it wasn't from their own fans. The NL Central-leading Cardinals have lost seven in a row and the folks in Baseball Heaven aren't all that happy.
Not St. Louis too! The last bastion of civility, corrupted by the mere presence of a team from Philly.

We kind of rub off on people eh?

Hopefully this string of good baseball continues in Gotham.

Can they seriously keep it up? Or is this a big tease?

I'm sure it's a tease, but they've got me watching again.

I'm actually going to brave Shea Stadium on Sunday night.

I had a longggggg day at work yesterday and had to get up early, but found myself watching to see how many Ks the kid ended up having. For some reason I like watching the youngsters.
                PS. play Coste everyday.
We're looking for people that are fundamentally different,” vice president of player personnel Andy Weidl said Saturday night. “The love and passion for football, it's non-negotiable. They're caring, their character, they do the right thing persistently, and they have a relentless playing style that you can see on tape. The motor, it burns hot. You see them finishing plays. They have a team-first mentality. They're selfless individuals.

Enjoy. I'll be watching the Eagles game, but probably following baseball on the net.

I'm loving it. I'm the ultimate underdog kinda guy- So- I'm watching again too. It's as "Fresh" as it gets right now... Hamels has some maturing to do- but he looked pretty good at most points of the game. Lets see if this is the start of new life for baseball in Philly. Coste Rox!
