Seems like a long, long time since Cam Cameron was fired late last season, Jim Caldwell took over the offense and the Ravens went on a Super Bowl run with quarterback Joe Flacco outperforming everyone in the postseason and becoming Super Bowl MVP. And, yes, they lost some key personnel -- Anquan Boldin and Dennis Pitta (for most of the season) in particular -- but this unit could not do anything even at a half-decent level in 2013. They could not run, they could not pass; they could not pass protect or run block. No one had even a modicum of an average season on the offensive unit. Total disaster. Run game coordinator Juan Castillo clashed with players.

The rumor is the Rams will try and trade the #2, move back so another team (Browns, Jags, vikes) can move up and get QB and the Rams add even more depth. The Rams could be really good if Bradford ever pans out.
You know Darren if you'd have told me 10 years ago that someday I was going to solve the world's energy problems I'd have said your crazy.... now lets drop this big ball of oil out the window.

I wonder who we take with the 32nd pick in the first round ?
We're looking for people that are fundamentally different,” vice president of player personnel Andy Weidl said Saturday night. “The love and passion for football, it's non-negotiable. They're caring, their character, they do the right thing persistently, and they have a relentless playing style that you can see on tape. The motor, it burns hot. You see them finishing plays. They have a team-first mentality. They're selfless individuals.

That's a rough division to try to be good in. There was an outside chance of having both wildcards come from the division yesterday.

Bradford has something like $17 million cap figures the next couple of years. I wonder if they will try to get him to renegotiate this offseason, and draft a QB if he refuses.

I'm almost surprised Schwartz hasn't been fired yet. Seemed like that team had too much talent to finish like that, though it sounds like Megatron has been playing with a knee injury since October and will need surgery.

The Dallas decision will be interesting to see. And I'd love to see who the Browns think they can get after ditching their coach after one season. I guess the Packers ditched Ray Rhodes after one year but the current Browns ownership doesn't have a previous track record to make someone comfortable. They do have a couple of first-round picks this year themselves though, so they could improve quickly.

Bucs fire Greg Schiano. I'm hearing that he might be coaching at Penn State after Bill O'Brien takes the job in Houston. Sounds like the Texans are just finalizing details on O'Brien's contract.

Schwartz gone. Deservedly. Thought he did the poorest job of anyone.

Good Lord, that would be a disaster for Penn State.

I concur. If I was running the Lions, I would have fired Schwartz after last season. The Lions under Schwartz played way, way too undisciplined.

I'm not happy about it Chip but that's the rumor flying around.

I gotta think that Jon Gruden could turn that Lions Club around. A shitload of talent there but they seemed to beat themselves weekly.

If Gruden doesn't take a job this year, I don't think he ever will.

                              Browns with full power.
