    I read that earlier.

Hey, can't win 'em all. Ware has turned into another McMullen. McMullen didn't have the injury obstacles that Ware has battled thru, but the light just seems to have not gone on for this kid. And with the way they have been shifting him around, I don't know that it ever will. Obviously they are TRYING to find a place/role for him, but he has to seize the opportunity.

Ware made a couple of nice plays in the Raiders PS game, but I didn't even notice him vs the Browns. (Of course, for a DB that's not always a BAD thing). I'm still pulling for him, but am more than a little concerned.

At least my OTHER horse is showing up in the race (McCants). If he gets cut I will probably display a minor fit.

      Hey Fresh,

You have to admit thouigh that if McCants gets cut, it will be due to the glut of young talent (Baskett, Avant) the Eagles are faced with this season.

You say that, and I say that a guy the Eagles have spent a draft pick on has an edge up on someone like DM. Add in their youth and it gets more lopsided. Even a guy like Gaffney that they went after in FA and invested something in has a slight advantage, and of course you look at their salary.

Darnerien is the epitome of a LONG SHOT. And I like rooting for under dogs like that. The great part here is that he is finally getting a legit shot on this team, or so it would appear, and he's making the most of it. I'm proud of him. He's gonna make it tough to cut him loose.

Maybe we're now finding out why Matt Ware fell in the draft like he did.

But at least we'll always be able to look back with fondness on this:

And Merrill Reese screaming, "MATT WARE!! MATT WARE!!"

I said it back when BT was here, Swing, guys that big that can "blanket" cover are a rarity, to say the least. It's like a guy my size being a good soccer player, and I was. But that is an exception to the rule. I don't know when we will ever see the likes of Taylor here again.

I don't think McCants will get cut. Lewis will get cut before he does. McCants plays too well on ST.
