NFC is still really up for grabs as should have been expected after only 8 weeks, but there are 7-9 teams that seem to have possible playoff paths...
The bad thing about the Eagles loss to AZ is not only that it drops us to 5-2 and thus allows the pack to catch up to us, but also AZ is a NFC challenger and thus we now lose two tiebreakers (SF, AZ).
So we have: PHI, SF, Seattle, AZ, Dallas, GB, Detroit and probably Carolina & New Orleans since someone needs to win that division and the other might be good enough to hang around.
I feel ok eliminating STL, Chicago, MIN, TB, ATL, NYG and WSH for now, but acknowledge that several of those teams could be capable of making a run.
Dallas & AZ: 6-1
Detroit: 6-2
Eagles: 5-2
GB: 5-3
SF & Seattle: 4-3
CAR: 3-4-1
New Orleans & NYG: 3-4
Chicago & MIN: 3-5
WSH & STL: 2-5
ATL: 2-6
TB: 1-6
