        Nightmare scenario......

-Andy wins a SB this year with KC.
-Chip wins a SB in 3 years with SF.
        -Vermeil has already done it.

Can you imagine what this would do to the psyche of Eagles fans ?

I would love for Andy to win a SB. But, it would send some fans to the Ben Franklin bridge.

Let's see what he can do with Kapernick.

My guess- he spends the first three games lighting it up and everyone says the Eagles were idiots. Then, Kap gets hurt because he keeps the ball on read options too much, they lose the next five. Then, the backup starts getting i

Their OLine was an absolute mess last year maybe as bad as the Eagles. They have ZERO receivers! I want to see Bowman kill Kelly after 4 straight 3 outs with that fast pace offense

No Mariota reunion. Kind of surprise me, TN ownership must be smarter than SF's

What psyche? After 55 friekin years of waiting could things possibly get worse? This franchise has already destroyed me.

Minor addition to what is definitely going to happen.

Kelly's hiring by the 49ers means he's the fourth straight ex-Eagles head coach to be named a head coach of another NFL team the season immediately after he was let go by the Eagles:

*Rich Kotite: 1994 with Eagles, 1995 with Jets
*Ray Rhodes: 1998 with Eagles, 1999 with Packers
*Andy Reid: 2012 with Eagles, 2013 with Chiefs
*Chip Kelly: 2015 with Eagles, 2016 with 49ers

Somewhat strangely, Buddy Ryan was the last Eagles head coach to not immediately be hired as a head coach by another NFL team. (He was eventually hired by the Cardinals, but that wasn't until 1994, four years after his final season with the Eagles.)

people in SF aren't thrilled about this at all. They saw what happened with chip's system in philly.

Ryan was (infamously) a defensive coordinator with the Oilers for a season before he got hired as a HC again.

Kotite... yeah. The Jets fired Pete Carroll to hire Kotite. He lasted two seasons and four wins. Rhodes lasted one year in Green Bay, and the normally patient team replaced him quickly. Reid of course has done well.

Will be very interesting to see how Kelly does. Maybe if he trusts the front office guys already in place, that part will go better. We'll see if he has learned from last year and can fix the other issues. Kaepernick will also be a rather interesting question for them.
