Dedrick Roper makes this team, IMO.
Gocong is way too inexperienced to handle that job if forced.
They might have to keep 8 LBs now if Gocong is healthy.
But since they look to be only carrying 5 WRs now that opens up a spot.

I believe that his days were done as soon as they moved him from OLB to DE. On this team, as it is set up now, they have to be able to play a position. They are too deep in some spots to be keeping a strict STs guy. So as good as Short is - I think he's done because he just can't play LB or DE well enough.
That is another reason why I say Roper makes it. When they added him (and Jack Brewer) last year is right about when the STs coverage teams started to pick it up.Comment
