  • DGB and Agholor

what exactly do they give us that Treggs and Paul Turner could not duplicate or do better?

    I just don't get it

Did DGB even get targeted yesterday? Once maybe?

I felt like getting angry with Wentz yesterday when he threw a 3rd down pass to Aggie...which of course he dropped. Carson, you need to know better!!!!!!!

I saw a play yesterday, Carson got in trouble and DGB just basically stood there, no route, no block, nothing, zero, zilch
We're looking for people that are fundamentally different,” vice president of player personnel Andy Weidl said Saturday night. “The love and passion for football, it's non-negotiable. They're caring, their character, they do the right thing persistently, and they have a relentless playing style that you can see on tape. The motor, it burns hot. You see them finishing plays. They have a team-first mentality. They're selfless individuals.

DGB is the single biggest waste of human flesh that I have ever seen.

In two consecutive games we've gone to Agholor in crucial third down situations, and twice he has blown it. They should simply take him off the field in those instances and use a three tight end set.

DGB wasn't on the field much. I am going to give him a little bit of a pass, he was obtained late in the preseason is only in his 2nd season and we gave up nothing to get him. Lets see what happens if he gets to spend an offseason with the team. I unlike most never looked at him any more than a 3rd receiver that could be used in the red zone.

Agholor boggles my mind. The guy was so good in college, he just has hands of stone in the pro's. Struggles to get open and when he does he drops the ball.

The one thing that really bothers me about our receivers is this, they don't go and get the ball. I watched Dez Bryant stretch out for a pass yesterday that was outside and low, he made the grab not a great throw but the receiver made the grab. You just don't see that with these receivers.

We (and Tennessee) have seen enough of DGB, to know that he completely sucks. There are no excuses. With a body like his, he should be shaking off DB's and winning every contest for a ball. If you don't catch a pass in two consecutive games, you shouldn't be on the field. I'd give him lunch money and a road map, and tell him to watch his backside as the door closes.

How many ways can we say it, complain about this nutless crew of receivers? They constantly hear it from the media, coaches and fans yet they don't respond. They are really gutless. I know the Gagger is our best receiver but you simply can't live with his drops. You can live with drops from a game changer, but not a basic move the chains guy like him. It's Johnson, Small and Thrash reincarnated.

It is maddening when you have one receiver who simply does not contest for ball in the air. When you have several 'pacifists' it is inexcusable and, IMO, falls mainly on the head coach for tolerating what has become commonplace among the receivers.

Not everyone is blessed with speed and great hands and graceful gross motor coordination. But ANYONE can fight for a ball in the air. Maybe I'm missing something but what possible reason can a receiver give for failing to compete vigorously for a ball in the air.

The problem is epidemic on this team and it needs to be treated like an contagious disease. Isolate those that are infected. Quarantine their passive ass to bench. Fuck those like Agholor who have are sensitive about being called out. Really "Fuck Them!"

Not including the 3 brand new guys (Turner, Grimmes, and Treggs)...with the exception of Celek and maybe Burton, I've seen all our receivers be remarkably passive at times.

My suggestion is that Goordie Good Shit have a heart to heart with just the receivers that goes something this: "We have a problem on this team that you guys need to help solve. Sometimes it looks like fighting for balls in the air isn't a priority. Here's the deal. Even if it isn't a priority for you, act as if it is. Cause if you don't, you're gonna have a seat and we'll give someone else an audition to see if they can act like they give a shit. Any questions?"

Bring in T.O. to coach them. He's yell, scream, and kick the f'cking shit out of them if they slack.
