  • Anyone See This Kid Play ?

Would like to know your thoughts. Barrett Brooks mentioned him as a possible day 3 pick on Comcast tonite.

We're looking for people that are fundamentally different,” vice president of player personnel Andy Weidl said Saturday night. “The love and passion for football, it's non-negotiable. They're caring, their character, they do the right thing persistently, and they have a relentless playing style that you can see on tape. The motor, it burns hot. You see them finishing plays. They have a team-first mentality. They're selfless individuals.

I've seen him play and he looked very good. Who knows though? Watch the so called press coverage of these dbs. Most college defenses just plane suck but the SEC is usually the best but you sure can't tell that on that video. They just let him run by them.

Have not seen him play but 6'3, 190, ran a 4.55 at the Combine, might be worth a shot in the 6th or 7th rd. As much Competition in Camp as possible is always a good thing.
Just give me ONE before I go!

he seems to want to win the battles when he goes up for the ball, that beats last years WRs

He looked very good in that film and I agree that he went after the ball. I guess that there are a lot of decent wrs in this draft. Whoever we get needs to adjust on the pro level. College teams throw the ball all over the place now and nobody huddles. That gives both offenses more reps to show off their stuff. They almost have to throw the ball more if they want to recruit to teach kids who have a goal of the NFL. I'm not talking just about wrs and QBs. Every position on the field needs to learn the passing game. HS teams don't throw the ball all over the place. Most teams are still run, run, run until you get to the huge schools and they have a large amount of talent to play with. I hear all this crap at the combine about "kids not knowing how to take a direct snap" and I just cry bullshit. At the pro level you're only talking about 5 plays a game too. What's the big deal?
