  • Most Improved Unit

Not hard to be the most improved unit when starting from where last year's group was. Jeffrey and Smith should add big play ability. What Carson needs is someone who will hold onto the ball and move the chains. Welker, Amendola, Beasley type that is dependable. Can Mathews be that now that he has help on the outside? Or will it be a hit and miss by slipping Hollins in for a play or two and Agholor in for a play or two or Gibson (if he makes the roster) in for a play or two or Ertz from the TE spot. .
It will be real nice to have a chains mover and it would be real nice if that is Mathews because he has the ability to get some YAC.
Wait until next year is a terrible philosophy
    Hope is not a strategy

I don't think that will necessarily come from the slot ND. I think Ertz might turn out to be that guy. I imagine that we're going to see Pumphrey and Sproles on 3rd down a lot too.
