  • Sorta OT

Happen to be in Jersey for the month so have had a chance to watch the CSN after game show.

I will not watch again. Turned it off mid show!

They decided to discuss the pre game antics and Trumps "opinion" !

I do not turn to CSN after an Eagles game to hear Rendell, Brooks and Joyners political commentary!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It was sickening, disgusting and totally not appropriate.

Kapernick and all the rest INCLUDING the media need to get and keep personal politics OUT of sports.

Players and media alike need to understand that ......I don't care what their opinions on the state of America anymore then they care about mine.

I will be firing off a nasty gram to Barkin and CSN voicing my extreme displeasure......... Don't think my message will the same platform Brooks, Joyner and Rendell got.

    End rant......... For now.

I would rather sports be separate from politics, myself. But Trump guaranteed that wouldn't happen, at least today.

But no way should a post game show have that stuff, not after a game like that. Pre-game, understandable, but post-game... you have more recent events to discuss.

I get a lot of Ravens shit in my facebook feed, and Terrel Suggs had a post up that someone shared. This was my response..

I think the point you're missing is that people turn to football to get away from politics. It's one thing that we have that brings everyone, an entire city and a lot of others, together. Regardless of your race, your politics, your religion, your economic standing, everyone can get together behind their team for 3 glorious hours on gameday. What you're doing is fucking that up by dragging highly polarizing political shit into it. That's why so many people can't stand Kapernick. Because he politicized the one freaking thing that we all shared without reservation. Unconditionally. Congratulations. I hope you made your fucking point.

Then the NFL better make a rule. And the NBA and MLB and NHL because right now the only rule is you have to be on the field.
Wait until next year is a terrible philosophy
                      Hope is not a strategy

and add to it that Rendell adds NOTHING to the show and doesn't belong there.
We're looking for people that are fundamentally different,” vice president of player personnel Andy Weidl said Saturday night. “The love and passion for football, it's non-negotiable. They're caring, their character, they do the right thing persistently, and they have a relentless playing style that you can see on tape. The motor, it burns hot. You see them finishing plays. They have a team-first mentality. They're selfless individuals.

Agree 100%........ Plus there is no need to input anything other than his opinion on the game. They all should be removed IMHO .

Certainly the post game show should be about the GAME, nothing but the game. That is what POST GAME show means.
