  • Wentz's "improvement" is a lot more than Wentz

First of all our O line is intact and he's not running for his life every play. But even more important is that receivers actually catch the ball this season! Dropping 3 rd down passes is simply inexcusable and has plagued this team for years. Now our guys are hands catchers and snatch the ball out of the air. Wentz's stats would be impossible with last year's receivers. Sure he seems to be playing better but the additions of Groh and some actual talent are fantastic!

Not sure anybody was saying it is only Wentz. QB gets glory and crap.

I sure wasn't saying it was just Wentz, but Wentz is in charge and the leader of the O and he sure seems to step it up in the tough times. Watch Carson during the game, he is waiting to greet the defensive players when they come of the field. We have a leader folks and I am thrilled for the first time in a long time at the state of the Eagles.
We're looking for people that are fundamentally different,” vice president of player personnel Andy Weidl said Saturday night. “The love and passion for football, it's non-negotiable. They're caring, their character, they do the right thing persistently, and they have a relentless playing style that you can see on tape. The motor, it burns hot. You see them finishing plays. They have a team-first mentality. They're selfless individuals.

He's. A hell of a kid for sure. Heck even our kicker is a leader now!

lot of factors go into making a team--including coaches but he has made as many strides as anyone. his teammates couldn't help but notice when he took on those defenders straight up at the goal line
Wait until next year is a terrible philosophy
          Hope is not a strategy

As great as that was I am hoping Peters and Jenkins ripped him a new one and told him don't ever do that again!
