lost Zeke and Rodgers off my fantasy roster, heading downhill now
We're looking for people that are fundamentally different,” vice president of player personnel Andy Weidl said Saturday night. “The love and passion for football, it's non-negotiable. They're caring, their character, they do the right thing persistently, and they have a relentless playing style that you can see on tape. The motor, it burns hot. You see them finishing plays. They have a team-first mentality. They're selfless individuals.

If Elliot had half a brain he would have accepted the suspension and gotten back already. At 2-3 he hasn’t been much of a help as it is. Their next six games are against SF, Wash, KC, Atlanta, Eagles and the LA Chargers. At best I think they go 3-3 with a strong possibility of 2-4. Their last 5 games include the Eagles and Skins again plus Seattle, NYG and Oakland. The team that was so certain they were “Super Bowl Bound” could really be looking at ending the year 7-9 or 8-8.

Yep. The dropoff between Zeke and the Dallas backups is not that significant IMO. Now, losing Dak for an extended period would really hurt them.

And maybe change the appeals court.

Is this the future for the NFL ? Are we going to get players appealing all the time just to delay things ? Honestly, this has to be hurting the Cowboys as a team when it comes to preparation.

Not that they don't deserve it

Based on the order and opinion of Judge Paul A Crotty of the Southern District Court of New York, not only has the suspension been "stayed" for 14 days, it quite possible Elliott will beat the suspension altogether.

Crotty is obviously a closet Cowboy fan and an asshole buddy of Fat Chris Chrsitie

The judge that ruled this time was a fill in judge for the judge that is on vacation. How Convient. The Cowgirls sent a letter saying losing Zeke would hurt their team. That is enough to get a stay. However I do not believe zeke prevails here. The end of the day it's hard to argue a year investigation is not due process. The cowgirls sending the letter is also confusing to a judge as the girls are part of what makes up the NFL. It would be like an employer firing you then defending you in a laws suit against themselves. Very strange

Lane Johnson is wondering how this appeal process is different from his Ill bet.
You know Darren if you'd have told me 10 years ago that someday I was going to solve the world's energy problems I'd have said your crazy.... now lets drop this big ball of oil out the window.

Of course numbnuts Johnson waited a couple of months before filing. His was probably about money anyway. He might even have won for all that we know. That probably wouldn't get published because nobody but him gives a shit.
