  • Peters 2 torn ligaments ?

God I hope this is wrong. I am already hearing that both Hicks and Peters are done for the year.

I hope you are wrong also but that link is from someone in SD who says from watching the video he thinks.....yada yada. Hell everyone saw the video and anyone can make a judgement but they have absolutely no knowledge of it. I can say he looked like he wasn't worried at all as he drove off.
I'm concerned but I think I will wait for something from the birds about Pete
Wait until next year is a terrible philosophy
    Hope is not a strategy

Hicks is gone for year with Achilles. I believe that. Man the Achilles tear is the new ACL.

I am reading Peters tore his MCL which also sounds right but is not season ending at all. As a matter of fact... Peters might be back by December.

      If Peters is gone for:

      49ers
      Broncos
      Bye
      At Cowboys
      Bears
      At Seahawks

      I can live with that.
You know Darren if you'd have told me 10 years ago that someday I was going to solve the world's energy problems I'd have said your crazy.... now lets drop this big ball of oil out the window.

My biggest fear for this season...... OL injuries.

I have a bad feeling about Hicks too. Did anyone hear Achilles?

Neither injury looked good. Hicks was really having a good year; he needs to stay healthy if he wants a career

Yes. I have heard nothing remotely positive about Hicks injury. Everyone is saying is is done for the year.

Crossing my fingers that Peters has an MCL sprain and not a tear.

This is the kind of crap that helps keep us from ever winning a SB. Just when it looks like we have a team that could at least have a shot to win it, we get devastated by injuries. When Dallas won their 3 SB's in 4 years, they were basically injury free. I clearly remember that because I couldn't believe a team could stay so healthy.

Losing both Peters and Hicks will hurt. Kendricks will probably be OK as a replacement, but it seems like he is always dinged up.

I was beginning to think that things were going to align perfectly for us when Cox came back and Darby is close to returning. Then last night happened.

It certainly was a bittersweet win last night.

How big of an MRI machine does it take for JP to get into?

                  Welp...

Peters tore his ACL and MCL

                  Big V better be ready

                    No! Ugh!

So does Lane flip to LT and Big V at RT?

"Peters tore his ACL and MCL"

Did anyone really expect good news ? Darby may be the only time I can ever remember getting better injury news than expected. This really sucks. What a downer. We should be celebrating last nights win, instead of being worried about our OL and LB now.

If we can get Kendricks healthy we can survive.

                          Would they consider a trade?

I will say might be time to flip Lane and let Big V play the right side

I've thought all along that Johnson would eventually replace Peters at LT and looks like the time is NOW. Stoutland will have to figure out the RT & RG spots with Brooks & Big V. Gonna be interesting what he decides this week.
Just give me ONE before I go!

I wouldn't do that. Teams are putting their best rushers on the right side now anyway because teams put their best tackles on the left to protect the QB's backside. Johnson has been playing great and should stay there IMO. If he moves over all of the footwork changes and there's no guarantee that he won't struggle. I think that for continuity's sake we just have to find somebody who can do a decent job at LT. I don't want to weaken 2 positions.
