Eagles could be playing in London in 2018

The five teams that haven't played in London could be playing there next year.

The Philadelphia Eagles are one of five teams that have yet to play a NFL regular season game in London.
That streak may end in 2018.
NFL UK managing director Alistair Kirkwood told ESPN the desire is to bring all six of the remaining teams to London for the 2018 NFL London games.
“For the fans of the teams that have supported us through thick and thin and haven’t seen...I don't know... the Eagles or the Titans or the Texans or the Packers,” Kirkwood said. "It's not the be all, end all. My best guess is that we'll announce the teams in early December."

The Eagles, Seattle Seahawks, Tennessee Titans, Green Bay Packers, and Carolina Panthers are the teams yet to play a game in London.
The NFL International Series started in London in 2007. A league-high four games were played this year since the series was started.
We're looking for people that are fundamentally different,” vice president of player personnel Andy Weidl said Saturday night. “The love and passion for football, it's non-negotiable. They're caring, their character, they do the right thing persistently, and they have a relentless playing style that you can see on tape. The motor, it burns hot. You see them finishing plays. They have a team-first mentality. They're selfless individuals.

Screw that. Let Jacksonville play themselves over there.

I still think season ticket holders should get free airfare to the game if the league moves it

If this happens it will,be a road game. The Eagles deal with the city when they built the link does not allow them to play Home games outside of Philadelphia

F that. Have said all along playing in Europe is a bull**** trick pony and I hope the birds never have to do it. Unfortunately I know it will happen someday
Wait until next year is a terrible philosophy
            Hope is not a strategy

Right. Playing in London only sucks if you lose a home game. If this winds up being an "away" game it can be an advantage because then it's like playing on a neutral field.

It's not much different than a west coast trip though and we don't lose a home game. If they make us play the following Sunday it's like a Monday night game because of the time difference. They had better put the friekin thing on tv!!

It will definitely be on TV IMM but it might be at 8 in the morning. I see no reason at all to play in London, or Mexico for that matter, but I'm not in the NFL money business.
