  • 7 day countdown.

I’ve been ignoring the media hype so far. The wait is killing me. But with just 7 days left.... starting to get a little pumped.

think I'm just a couple days from going bonkers. Let's get it on.
We're looking for people that are fundamentally different,” vice president of player personnel Andy Weidl said Saturday night. “The love and passion for football, it's non-negotiable. They're caring, their character, they do the right thing persistently, and they have a relentless playing style that you can see on tape. The motor, it burns hot. You see them finishing plays. They have a team-first mentality. They're selfless individuals.

All the worry for 3 hours of football and that's it until next year. My wife says that she can't believe how fast the game passes and I agree with her. The game is like a blink and it's over. If we have the lead in the 4th quarter trying to hold off the Pats that quarter might seem like an eternity though.
          "Hey Giants, who's your Daddy?"

It puts things in perspective doesn’t it?

            But we’re already hooked.

I've pretty much eliminated watching any sports shows and listening to sports radio. I waver back and forth between being mildly optimistic for awhile and then becoming resigned to another terrible disappointment.

Strangely, I don't feel excited yet, even with just 3 days to go. I mainly feel tense and maybe a little fucked up mentally. I need to find a way to relieve the pressure that's been building in my head. I think perhaps I should go out tonight, find me a Pats fan, kill him and then eat his heart.

Where is the best place to buy fava beans?

I'm excited, I really think we have the chance of getting this fucking gorilla off our backs

Thanks for saving me some typing, the underlined is exactly what I've got going on myself. After all a pessimist is nothing more that an experienced optimist.
Stand for the flag you assholes!
