I think that this puts Schwartz in a tough spot. The only decent backup safety is Graham who will now start. This is really going to limit what the Birds can do defensively because they like to play 3 safeties at the same time and play around with Jenkins. Does anybody have any ideas on how they could still do that?

Going to find out soon. Mcleod done for the year with an MCL injury. TJ Ward, Mike Mitchel and Tyvone Branch are out there. Plus we have the guy from Chicago we traded for. My guess is we will be fine there. Were from Philly F in Philly no one likes us we DON'T CARE!

Signing Thomas would give me wood! McLeod was really playing good and is certainly going to hurt. It will be interesting for sure to see what Schwarz comes up with. Damned injury bug is biting us again this year. I sure hope Mariotta's arm is still not right. I guess that he was lobbing hand grenades against the Jags last week."Hey Giants, who's your Daddy?"

this will be interesting for me. I have always been a critic of McLeod's since we signed him. I like his speed and his tackling. But I have always thought he is a liability in coverage and wanted us to draft his replacement. There is a reason nobody drafted him in the first place
I wanted Eric Reid back in free agency. He was still out there, and of course the Panthers nabbed him. Probably knowing we'd go after him.
It will be interesting to see how this goes. McLeod played pretty well in our two wins. Then again that was against two dome teams on our grass and one with a rubber arm and only 1 weapon
I certainly never wanted McLeod to get hurt and would have rather had us prepared to replace him.
as mean and cold as it sounds, I feel like he is very replaceable
I'm just not sure Graham is the answer

Last year the injury bug hit us later on in the season when the team was already on a roll, the division was wrapped up and home field was almost a lock. This year the injuries have been earlier and more impactful because of a lack of depth. Our secondary just took a major blow.

Give Douglas a shotWe're looking for people that are fundamentally different,” vice president of player personnel Andy Weidl said Saturday night. “The love and passion for football, it's non-negotiable. They're caring, their character, they do the right thing persistently, and they have a relentless playing style that you can see on tape. The motor, it burns hot. You see them finishing plays. They have a team-first mentality. They're selfless individuals.
