  • Winslow calls out Chad Johnson

    http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/news;_ylt=A ... &type=lgns

Some of you may be sick of Chad Johnson, but (maybe because he plays in the AFC) I still find him pretty amusing.

    Gotta love this quote

"It's humanly impossible to stop (No.) 85," Johnson boasted during an animated teleconference with Cleveland's media. "You are kind of insulting me. I cannot be stopped. Period."

I like Johnson because he doesn't take himself so seriously. I like the way he jokes around such as sending the Pepto to the Browns CB's a couple of years ago. Unlike Freddie, he can back his talk up.

I hate everything the Cowboys stand for. If you think they are America's team, then you support everything that is wrong with America. The excess, the greed, the lack of maturity, the lack of responsibility, the lack of control. - Luzinski's Gut

Well put. Johnson's trash talk and endzone celebrations are fun because he never comes off as having a chip on his shoulder, he's just out there having fun and enjoying life as an NFL star. And really, shouldn't he be? Of course I'm an established Bengals fan (my 'B' team from spending several years in Cincy during the bad years), so I'm biased. But that's always the impression I've gotten from CJ, and I think most people agree.

Of course, for what it's worth, I absolutely loved Freddie Mitchell, for the exact same reason - he never took himself seriously, and his dry, deadpan delivery when he'd make his ridiculous comments (come on, the 'i'd just like to thank my hands' conference was hilarious) was brilliant. It was almost performance art. The problem was, not enough people got the joke, and he made a career-killing mistep with his Superbowl trash talk. Oh, and he sucked. But I've never been one to feel that talk needs to be backed up. It's entertaining on its own merits.

"I can't be stopped, regardless as to what Kellen Winslow says," he said.

        Hilarious.

Did he throw any motorcycle jokes in there for good measure? That would have ruled.

I thought I was the only one who actually was entertained by Freddie Mitchell.

He knew what he was, but didn't let that stop him from being ridiculously over the top.

I know if I were a professional sports star, I would have a blast being as silly as possible.

Because the media is already an absolute joke.

If he'd thrown a motorcycle joke in there it wouldve been a cheap shot but I would have loved it.

Or maybe a "tell PFC Kellen Winslow I can't be stopped."
