  • This rumor is just too good to be true LOL!

These two beauties are made for each other. Another typical stupid move for the Redskins.

JOSH ROSEN TO THE REDSKINS LOOKING LIKELY, PER REPORT
    By Vincent Frank - April 4, 2019

    Steven Bisig-USA TODAY Sports
The drawn-out saga surrounding Josh Rosen’s NFL future could very well be coming to a culmination. Mere weeks until the 2019 NFL Draft, it looks like Rosen could be heading out of town.

According to NFL insider Benjamin Allbright, the former top-10 pick is looking like a fit for the Washington Redskins in a trade from the Arizona Cardinals.

Washington/Rosen looks more and more like the pairing, unless someone else steps up their offer.

Allbright went on to note that Arizona would likely receive a second-round pick in 2019 and a future mid-round selection from Washington for Rosen.

The quarterback being subjected to trade rumors is nothing new. It sure likes like Arizona will look to team new head coach Kliff Kingsbury up with likely No. 1 pick Kyler Murray.

Selected No. 10 overall in last year’s draft, Rosen struggled big time as a rookie. Though, he’s still seen as a potential franchise quarterback.

The Redskins themselves are in need of just that after losing Alex Smith to a potential career-ending injury last November. As of right now, veterans Colt McCoy and Case Keenum would battle it out for the starting job next season.

I think I remember some analysts thinking that Rosen was the best of last year's class of QBs. He certainly didn't play well but the cardinals marched him out there behind one of the worst lines in all of football and no real wideouts except a declining HOFer and David Johnson who was struggling behind that same terrible line.

For a 2nd round pick, I actually see this as a good move for the Redskins.

I think that it's more the guy's attitude than his talent Vet. You could see it in his interviews and it was a topic of conversation leading up to his draft and why teams might be reluctant to draft him. He seemed like Cutler 2.0.

I always have trouble with people deciding a kid's total career after only a couple of years and accounting for circumstances. I well remember our own Graham and the career choices people decided for him after the 1st couple of years.

I don't know much about Rosen at all, I am just very cautious about judging his career based on that one year with THOSE circumstances.

2nd round pick for a kid that was the 10th overall pick last year. I think that is good value for the Redskins.

Well when I was a kid a got a lot of value at our 5 and 10 store too and it was all Japanese junk. Maybe the kid might turn into something but he's not learning on my dime. Like I said the kid is an arrogant weirdo besides that and probably not the kind of guy most want to work with anyway.

FYI. I was a champion of Graham when the whole board wanted him gone. His only problems were injuries the first couple of years and everybody was down on him because he hardly ever played. When he did he played well. He's been solid ever since. Hicks could end up the same way but if you're undersized like he is you have to wonder.

Didn't watch Rosen enough to come down on either side but I buy this. Doesn't matter who you are if you are thrown in with the crap it is hard to move it all out in one season. Especially your rookie one.
Wait until next year is a terrible philosophy
              Hope is not a strategy

Oh, I agree with this too. That's why I think that there is more to the story and it's going to be fun watching how it plays out in Washington.

I would feel better about the Skins getting him if the Patriots weren’t interested. According to what I read the Patriots offered a second for him. Bellicheat knows talent so if he is offering a second that tells me that Rosen has real potential. The Redskins are an ever-present dumpster fire, but even they can luck into a good move once in awhile. I prefer that they NOT get a real QB. Lets hope they find a way to fuck up this kids career like they did with RGIII.

Talk about two jerks. Maybe they are made for each other. Talent never was a question with Rosen. Besides that, a number 2 for him for the 64th pick in this year's draft isn't that much when you really think of it.

If we were in the position of the Redskins (so happy we aren’t) I’d be good with this trade.
