  • Bills Release Lesean McCoy

Wow. He had a really off year last year. But, this is still a little surprising.

I wish he could have finished his career here somehow. But, I understand we are loaded at RB.

Pliny I may be ripped for this, pbut his whole attitude and demeanor pissed me off to the point where I want nothing to do with him. That incident with the waitress was bad enough, but then the fight with the cops in the night club put him on my “want nothing to do with him” list. He never seemed to get that playing in the NFL is a privilege, not a given. Personally, I’d be fine with him being remembered as a Bill rather than an Eagle.

From a skills standpoint, I think Shady would be more valuable than Sproles, but Sproles is a more valuable locker room presence.

In other news, how about Kyle Lauletta for the PS? Better than Thorson, my NU allegiance notwithstanding. Lauletta is a local guy - could be a viable backup when Studs and McClown move on next year.

P.S. Don’t mean to hijack thread if mods think we should separate topics - could also merge under “notable cuts”.

Don’t need shady..... just reminds me of how terrible a coach a certain guy named Kelly was.

Shady isn’t coming here to get 4-5 snaps a game. This is the Howard Sanders show with sprinkling of Sproles and Clement

It will be interesting to see where he ends up. There's a few teams out there that could use some help. The Texans just lost Lamar Miller for the season, and then there's the Chargers dealing the Melvin Gordon's holdout. He'll catch on somewhere, but I agree it won't be in Philly.

Don’t want him, don’t need him and he’s not better than our top 2 backs at this stage of his career
We're looking for people that are fundamentally different,” vice president of player personnel Andy Weidl said Saturday night. “The love and passion for football, it's non-negotiable. They're caring, their character, they do the right thing persistently, and they have a relentless playing style that you can see on tape. The motor, it burns hot. You see them finishing plays. They have a team-first mentality. They're selfless individuals.

Houston traded for Carlos Hyde. Looks like KC might be looking at Shady.
