  • What This Team Has Been Lacking

    No, it's not more cowbell.

It's turnovers. We have one turnover in two games and that was somewhat lucky.

So that's the problem with the pass rush. We are getting to the quarterback, and we are forcing some fumbles but not recovering them. I think the law of averages applies here - if we continue to force fumbles we should recover more than we have.

Interceptions are another story. I can't remember any gimmes that should have been picked off...

LG, fully agree with the your law of averages here,,, we will get our share as the season goes along --- those things usually even out over the course of a season.

Absolutely right and its not like they didn't have their chances. I believe we have caused something like 5 fumbles but have recovered zero.

We are not going to get interceptions with the current corp of defensive backs and linebackers. None of them are what you call ball hawks (maybe Dawkins)
Were from Philly F in Philly no one likes us we DON'T CARE!

I blame it on the back 7. The D-Line has done its part. The LBs need to pounce. I can recall at least twice where the secondary has dropped interceptions not to mention the amount of completions being thrown on them. I don't buy that the completion % is a knock on the D-Line. The yards/completion is in the bottom half of the league.

Teams have had to throw short on us and the D-Backs have been playing a cushion so much on the WRs, it's had me screaming for two weeks.

The D-Line is forcing fumbles, jump balls and throwaway passes. I can't fault them. Our secondary has to make more big plays.

I can name one...eli's pass to beat us sunday. I finally caught a highlight and that thing was an under-thrown prayer. That pass was never intended to win the game...just save his goofy ass. The CB played to the outside(the wrong direction), crossed up his feet, and left plaxico clear to wait for the ball. It was an easy ball to intercept

chalk to our Dbax here... One or two INT's would've done some good. FR too... This week may look better than expected...
