Considering how banged up our secondary is, do you think this guy would be a better option then Hanson or Fox?

Not only is Carroll a poor corner, he's supposedly a turd as a person too. He fought Joey Thomas (another bust pick by them) in their rookie seasons over something stupid if I recall correctly. But I did read that Carroll was not a good dude at all.
Hanson gives me a heart attack, but I'd ride with him over a guy whose confidence is shattered and doesn't know the defense.Comment

He doesn't seem to have any ball skills at all. He is fast enough to stay w/ receivers though, he needs work on his technique.
I'd bring him in, he has experience, and he's got to be better than Dustin Fox.Comment

He is worth a look. He has talent you can see that. He probably did not benefit from the constanst change on the Packers defense. I think the Packers cut him to try and wake up their secondary. After all Charles Woodson and Al Harris are good corners. There secondary should not be getting beat they they are.Were from Philly F in Philly no one likes us we DON'T CARE!Comment

I'd bring him in.
Word has it the Eagles targeted him late in that Monday Night game after they noticed he was tired from playing on ST's all game.
Eagles only had 3 catches against him and it all came late.
Pack needed a goat...but my opinion is they are the goat...not Carroll.
He is 23 and is still learning. Given our injury situation...I'd bring him in. SEC corners are cool.

The rumor on the message boards is that the Eagles have signed cornerback Ahmad Carroll to a two-year contract. I have not heard that to be the case internally.Comment

That rumor was posted by one person on Dave's forum. He cited ESPN was reporting it and there has been nothing on ESPN.
Plus Carroll is subjected to waivers. He has to be on there for 24 hours. If he's not claimed then he is a FA.Comment
