  • Even more buzz about Jeffrey

    https://www.phillyvoice.com/nfl-rumo...-jason-peters/

Now this may be a bunch of crap thrown against the wall to see what sticks or maybe he has heard rumors. Either way I continue to hear noise about getting rid of Jeffrey and where there is smoke there is usually fire albeit sometimes a small fire. It also throws more crap out there about the birds not believing Dillard is ready. Whatever the case with Dillard I will be real bummed if he is a throwaway.
Wait until next year is a terrible philosophy
    Hope is not a strategy
    RIP

Maybe Dillard has decided he prefers wearing a heavy raincoat and riding around on fire trucks!

This is the silly season in the NFL when you just throw stuff out there and hope that it sticks. No way this is going to happen.
You know Darren if you'd have told me 10 years ago that someday I was going to solve the world's energy problems I'd have said your crazy.... now lets drop this big ball of oil out the window.

I agree AW. It's crazy to think that the Eagles would just cut Jeffery. Even trading him costs them $15 million. Even if all the problems that we have heard are true it seems to me they can still all play together. And if things go bad then they could show him the door.

If the CBA gets approved, the team can cut him with a less-painful (but painful nonetheless) cap hit after June 1st. The hit can be spread out over two seasons.

Anybody that wants to cut him---- before finding out if he is healthy--- is just wrong, IMHO.

Is he a problem in the locker room? Does any fan know if he is a problem in the locker room?

I think that we are all on the same page here guys. Sometimes things get repeated so much they are taken for truth. Let's hope that's what is happening here.

last game he played he was 9-137 and a TD, Here's to bad chemistry
We're looking for people that are fundamentally different,” vice president of player personnel Andy Weidl said Saturday night. “The love and passion for football, it's non-negotiable. They're caring, their character, they do the right thing persistently, and they have a relentless playing style that you can see on tape. The motor, it burns hot. You see them finishing plays. They have a team-first mentality. They're selfless individuals.

I wonder if any of these reporters have called Jeffery to see if any of this crap is real. I can't see where a receiver who bitches a little for more targets is such a huge deal anyway. As MM says, the only thing I'm worried about is him being healthy which has been the knock on him his whole career.
