What defines football as we know it IMO was epitomized through the season. I've collected a sequence of WHAT IFs, which literally determined the outcome of not just the Eagles season, but for the NFL in general as well. And it's my firm belief that these ifs somehow cause chain reactions, sometimes making you wonder.
What if the fumble that was recovered for a TD in our endzone was actually recovered by Lewis?
What if a certain 62-yarder takes the normal course FGs of that distance take?
What if Romo holds the ball as he should have?
What if Cincinati scores the XP and beats Cleveland?
What if we didn't have 12 men on the field against NO?
What if San Diego's CB simply slaps the ball down instead of fumbling it?
What if Vincent doesn't block the FG against Dallas?
Just think of how good or how bad certain things would look if those things happened.
And then realize that no matter how good of a team you have, if you are going to get screwed, there are endless possibilities for it to happen
