Where would you put Big Ben?

    http://sports.espn.go.com/espn/page2/st ... nflrookies

I don't know why its not creating a link, but check it out.

    P.S.

Does it seem like every Rook on this list ends up stomping the Broncos.[/url]

Wow...that was a trip down memory lane I didn't want to take. Timmy fucking Smith is smoking crack in an alley right now I promise you.

Number one if we win it all. I don't think you can put him in that list yet, he hasn't even played in the playoffs.

Big Ben is so goddamn overrated. He's had a great successful season but he's on a great TEAM. It's not like he's carrying a shitty team to the playoffs.

Thats true, but the fact is no Rookie QB has gone undefeated. I mean thats ridiculous. No other QB even did it this year. Its crazy and this is from a Broncos fan (I don't really care about the Steelers.)

Even if you have a great team, if you have a quarterback who doesn't know how to manage a game(see Jake Plummer), you won't go 15-1. Give the man credit for that shit. He has played mistake-free, and has been able to step up when he needed to.

Let's not annoint him as the next Joe Montana just yet, though. Let's see how the boy does in the BIG DANCE.

I think he did a great job. Being undefeated is nothing to sneeze at. But people are acting like he is the second coming of Joe Montana.

Even AJ Feeley went 4-0 when he had a chance to start on a GOOD team.

I agree, he's nothing until he wins in the playoffs, but you still have to give him credit for one of the best rookie seasons ever. He's not the second coming of Joe Montana, but I think he's proven that he has the talent to be.

The only reason people here are going nuts is because we've had Kordell the pocket passer and Maddox the scrambler in the past few years.

He's a good player but his numbers weren't that great during the season. He does deserve credit for going undefeated, though.

Pittsburgh fans have every reason to be excited.

But the national media is giving him too much attention. Did you know he donated his playoff check to Tsunami relief!

So did TO but no mention of that anywhere.

I agree with you there, I can't stand it when the media slobbers all over any player.

You want him to be the Favre that wins a SB, not the guy that throws 4 INTs in a playoff game - and gets excused for it cause that's just favre being like kid having fun out there.
