  • MVP race

I wrote a column on SC about the MVP race. Here are my rankings for each league:

    NL:

    1. Ryan Howard
    2. Albert Pujols
    3. Carlos Beltran
    4. Alfonso Soriano
    5. Lance Berkman

    AL:

    1. David Ortiz
    2. Jermaine Dye
    3. Travis Hafner
    4. Justin Morneau
    5. Vladimir Guerrero

    Thoughts?
"You come into our house, you should get your behind kicked. You don't come into the OB playin that stuff. You're across the ocean over there. You're across the city. You can't come over to our place talkin' trash like that."

Sorry, Philly, but you can't put Howard above Pujols, not even this year. He missed a whole month of the season, remember.

Albert is the best player in either league, period.
I have never done steroids. Period. Well, not today, anyway.

You know, someone needs to once and for all define MVP for people -- and for ALL leagues. In my mind, MVP is the player a team can't do without. If I remember correctly, the Cardinals did ok with Pujols out that month.

Phillies would be battling the Nationals right now if not for Howard.

I gotta give it to Pujols man, he’s got it all, the MVP, the skills and a great family yet he still stays so humble. No huge house or fancy cars for this dude, just a modest crib in the burbs of KC, check it out at http://attblueroom.com/sports
