  • Guess the Eagles draft picks thread

Pick 3 possible players you think the Eagles should pick for each selection they have. No trades. Just guesses. Highlight the one guy of those 3 you think they will pick for each selection

Highlighted guy gets picked at selected pickat you had him=5 points
Any of the other 2 get picked at that selection=3 points
Highlighted guy gets picked at different round=2 points
Any player gets picked in a different round =1 point

What are we playing for? Nothing. Just nerd fun. Get your picks in before 8 on Thursday. No edits after

Honestly, do not know enough of the guys available to pick all the selections. But i will play along for round 1

Damarious Randall, Safety, ASU - because Peter King can't be wrong

Jaelen Strong, WR, ASU - There will be a run on WR and he will be the best available

Jake Fisher, OL, Oregon - Because there wouldn't be an Eagles draft without people complaining the pick would have been there in round 2

LOL! I'm guessing an O Lineman because I think Mathis could be traded, but they need one anyway. But I still think Chip is smart enough to go BA unless he's got a couple of guys targeted.

But my thing about Mathis is really just a flyer. After all, he has no leverage and he's not really a trouble maker. In fact, he's an ideal teammate. He's too old to make a power play (like 32 is old!!).

rd 1 Strong, Fisher, Byron Jones
We're looking for people that are fundamentally different,” vice president of player personnel Andy Weidl said Saturday night. “The love and passion for football, it's non-negotiable. They're caring, their character, they do the right thing persistently, and they have a relentless playing style that you can see on tape. The motor, it burns hot. You see them finishing plays. They have a team-first mentality. They're selfless individuals.
