Both Jacksons will be helpful, though I think th big boy brings more.
We're looking for people that are fundamentally different,” vice president of player personnel Andy Weidl said Saturday night. “The love and passion for football, it's non-negotiable. They're caring, their character, they do the right thing persistently, and they have a relentless playing style that you can see on tape. The motor, it burns hot. You see them finishing plays. They have a team-first mentality. They're selfless individuals.
Those two addressed two of the biggest issues we had. We needed another Robin to Batman on the interior defensive line. We needed speed at the wide out spot and went out and got the best long ball wide out in football. Jackson's numbers don't really tell the tale of what he brings to the table for the other guys. Ertz, Agholor and Jeffrey are going to kill the short to intermediate routes. It will also help the run game as they have to respect the run pass option.
Both Jacksons are huge. Now we can't stop there. We have other areas to address specifically LB and RB.
Were from Philly F in Philly no one likes us we DON'T CARE!
Sorry to say, but these 2 positions IMO will be handled cheaply

Steelers fans really liked LJ Fort and thought that he should have been playing more. It sounds like he is better playing the run than the pass at LB but really good special teams player.
Yea, both the Jackson signings will help. Needed a speed guy, because we have playmakers, and Jackson does that. Needed a DT that has some game in him because we have Cox and a pretty good DE crew and Jackson does that.
They still have draft picks to move around to get the players they want in the draft without fear that there is going to be holes
Wait until next year is a terrible philosophy
Hope is not a strategy

It's pretty rare for a rookie to help a whole lot in his first year, at least at the start of the season unless he's a top 10 pick. Remember the year that we drafted the youngest Matthews kid in the 4th round and expected him to not only start at MLB but call the plays too? That was a brilliant plan.
