  • TO = Alligatoritis?

Surprised no one is speaking about this, but IMO TO definitely showed a case of alligatoritis on that cross pattern with Lewis lined up to nail him...he definitely short-armed the catch and thus dropped it...

Hopefully, somewhere Pinky laughed out loud at that...

He short armed more than one IMO. I definitely noticed it.

yeah, that was a real for-who-for-what play.

michael lewis is not good in coverage, but he does lay himself out (and put himself in harm's way himself) on some of his hits over the middle and in run support. he had TO lined up there and no doubt impacted that play.

interesting about TO's hypocrisy. he has no problem shouting on the sidelines about Bledsoe's poor throw that was Sheppard's 1st INT and throwing him under the bus after the game, but really doesn't hold himself to the same standard on plays like that.
Don't kid yourself Jimmy. If a cow ever got the chance, he'd kill you and everyone you cared about!

Maybe some of Pinkston rubbed off on TO. Maybe we should call TO T Oinkston.

Actually, IMO, what it proves is that it happens to EVERY nfl wr at some point, even the best. (and we all agree that OD is one of the best --on the field).

Mike Ditka made mention of during the blitz but didn't make a big deal out of it, just that it looked like TO was not interested in catching that ball

Also - Don't know if it made the broadcast - but TO dogged it on some of his routes. There was a pass to the opposite side of the field where Glenn caught a ball and Glenn must have been the primary receiver on the route. TO just jogged through his route which is very uncharacteristic of him.

I heard on one of the sports radio shows thiws afternoon...not sure which one...that the Dallas receiver's coach said Owen's was running his routes like a high schooler, and attributed it to his lack of practice. That's the kind of CONSTRUCTIVE CRITICISM that's bound to pay dividends down the road!
