Guess I just had/have an over-inflated sense of the importance of the STC.

I hope this all works out.

I don't know if Moats has the hands for it.

I will give Mahe credit, to return punts you have to be fearless, and have good hands. He's got those qualities. He's got the hands and the heart, just not the wheels.

Now, do you drop a guy like him for, say Bloom? Who may or may not have the nerve or ball-protection qualities of a Mahe for a bettter potential return. And I don't know, maybe Blom has stones the size of boulders and great mitts. But if you are the Eagles and see ahe as a safer option, with less upside, what do you do?

Answer: Pray that Bloom is up to the challenge.

I don't think so. I think STs is INCREDIBLY important. The question is if this new guy has the ability/intelligence for the job, and whether or not there will still be support from Harbaugh.

"Quality Control Coordinator" was just some gobblety-gook they made up for Morninhweg. The true job title was "Offensive Coordinator-in-waiting" because Childress had been out on some job interviews and was getting attention as an HC candidate about the time they brought Marty in.
Don't kid yourself Jimmy. If a cow ever got the chance, he'd kill you and everyone you cared about!
