  • Give me Dallas :(

After looking at the remaining schedules for all 4 NFC East teams, Dallas could very easily win the East. The Giants are headed for a tailspin. Book it. Dallas has too much talent to trip up on the easier teams.

Dallas is going to win this thing unless the Eagles can get hot. Please don't let it happen.

Giants - Could very easily go 3-5 to finish 9-7
    Chicago
    at Jacksonville
    At Tennessee
    Dallas
    At Carolina
    Philadelphia
    New Orleans
    Washington

Dallas - Could easily go 6-2 to finish 10-6, 9-7 at worst
    At Arizona
    Indy
    Tampa Bay
    NY Giants
    New Orleans
    Atlanta
    Philly
    Detroit

Philly - 9-7 ? Must win next two games.
    Washington
    Tennessee
    Indianapolis
    Carolina
    at Washington
    at NY Giants
    at Dallas
    Atlanta

Washington - Must sweep Philly to have any chance
    Philadelphia
    at Tampa Bay
    Carolina
    Atlanta
    Philadelphia
    at New Orleans
    at St. Louis
    NY Giants

FWIW, the Giants are favored by 3 this weekend over the Bears.

Looks like a little wager is in order this weekend

The Jints over the Bears? Oh brother. When did they suddenly get good?

I'm still banking on the Terrell Owens factor disrupting their locker room enough to dislodge the Cowgirls. Maybe enough for "that one loss" that keeps the Cowgirls out. Not just that he's a psycho, but Tony Romo is his beeyotch, and that's not a good relationship for QB to have with his WR. Also hoping that Romo is just green enough that defenses pick up on his tendencies.

If, if, if...too many ifs. But Owens is a psycho, that much we're sure of.
"Philly fans are great....It's the only place where you pull up on the bus and you've got the grandfather, the grandmother, the kids and the grandkids - everybody flicking you off. At other stadiums, they give you the thumbs-down. Here, they give you the middle finger.”
      — Michael Strahan

"No one likes us, no one likes us, no one likes us, we don’t care, we’re from Philly, F—-ing Philly, No one likes us, we don’t care!”

          My take on Dallas

          At Arizona - WIN
          Indy - LOSS
          Tampa Bay - WIN
          NY Giants - WIN
          New Orleans - LOSS
          Atlanta - LOSS
          Philly - LOSS
          Detroit - WIN

          That's 4-4 to finish 8-8. Blah.

By the way - your listing of Dallas makes it seem like they end with 7 home games straight:

            @ Arizona (FOX)
            INDIANAPOLIS
            @ NY Giants (FOX)
            NEW ORLEANS (FOX)
            @ Atlanta (TXA 21/NFLN)
            PHILADELPHIA (NBC)
            DETROIT (FOX)

I'll be awfully surprised if any team in the division finishes better than 10-6. The NFCE is going to go down to the wire.
The definition of insanity is to continually repeat the same action and expect different results.

Thus the Redskins and their fans are, by definition, insane.
