  • Not a good Stat: Rushing Yards Allowed

The Eagles have allowed 292 rushing yards - 3rd most in the NFL and the most they've given up through Week 2 since 1996. Yuck.

Of 55 opposing rushes against the Eagles through 2 games, 18 were up the middle for an average gain of 10.4 yards. Yeowzers.

Yea, but excluding two runs, we are giving up 170 yds on 53 carries..... Cup half full?

C'mon man, you can't exclude anything. It is what it is.

They have got to get better at stopping the run.

I'm curious. Who are the two teams worse than us?

The interesting thing here is there are two teams that are actually worse than us at stopping the run, that is hard to believe.
Were from Philly F in Philly no one likes us we DON'T CARE!

EB: That was my futile attempt at being sarcastic. Guess I need to try harder - or give up.

Unfortunately, this is a problem and, while Vick was out last week and may have influenced eh outcome, We had a solid lead with their QB on the ropes and did not protect the lead. When a team can run on you in the 4th when they are down by 2 posessions and still come back to beat you, we have an issue.

The Bucs and the Rams have given up more yards on the ground that us.

We're also tied for 2nd to last in ypc.

it's not like we didn't see this coming.

Yes. And, on the flip side, that is the point that Andy Reid often misses. Every running back will have a string of 10 carries for 25 yards here and there, but it's how often they bust that 11th carry for a 40 yard gain that matters.
