This is a guy who you would bring in who would have little clout, and be non threatening to Howie. I assume Jeff is shooting for a drama free front office, and I get that, but this might not be conducive to bringing out the best in everyone. I used to feel that one of Andys biggest mistakes was in surrounding himself with too many yes-men. A certain amount of diversity is a good thing.....but, maybe we will be OK. We have some diversity....but might have too much go-with-the-flow. Bears watching........http://shop.cafepress.com/content/global/img/spacer.gifOK, let's try this again...

Sounds more like a rudderless ship unless you pitcher the Ferret as a Captain. Porked before we even start. White helmets are next. What's King Hill doing these days? We're going to be picking early for the next decade or until this guy sells the team."Hey Giants, who's your Daddy?"

Steelers always seem to have LBs , RBs ,O linemen and are usually stoudt in the DT areaWe're looking for people that are fundamentally different,” vice president of player personnel Andy Weidl said Saturday night. “The love and passion for football, it's non-negotiable. They're caring, their character, they do the right thing persistently, and they have a relentless playing style that you can see on tape. The motor, it burns hot. You see them finishing plays. They have a team-first mentality. They're selfless individuals.

don't much care if he has pimples, a pocket protector and his virginity , if he knows what he's doing. If he worked for the Steelers and Donohoe thinks he's worthy, I'm good with it. Plus he looks stout enough to knock Howie on his ass. We're looking for people that are fundamentally different,” vice president of player personnel Andy Weidl said Saturday night. “The love and passion for football, it's non-negotiable. Several new candidates have emerged in the Philadelphia Eagles' search for a player personnel executive. Here are the latest updates, via Jeff McLane of the Philadelphia Inquirer.
Brandon Hunt
Earlier, Steelers president Art Rooney II confirmed the Steelers gave the Eagles permission to interview Pittsburgh pro personnel coordinator Brandon Hunt. Jeffrey Lurie and Howie Roseman met with Hunt on Thursday. Now he'll meet with Eagles senior director of player personnel (and former Steelers GM) Tom Donahoe on Friday. It's believed Donahoe has a lot of influence in this hiring process, so that seems to bode well for Hunt's chances.
Morocco Brown
Brown (pictured above) served as the vice president of player personnel of the Browns (fittingly enough) before getting fired earlier this month. Prior to joining Cleveland after the 2014 NFL Draft, Brown had spent six seasons in Washington from 2008-2013 as the director of pro personnel. Shortly after leaving Washington, NFL insider Jason La Canfora reported that Brown is primed to be a general manager one day. It was believed the Redskins made a mistake by not elevating him higher.
Dwayne Joseph
Eagles director of pro scouting is reportedly an internal candidate. Joseph was hired by the Eagles in May after the 2015 NFL Draft. Some more background on Joseph, via ChicagoBears.com:
"Dwayne Joseph is in his second season as Associate Director of Pro Personnel after spending the 2012 season as Chicago’s Assistant Director of Pro Scouting. This is Joseph’s second stint in the Bears front office, previously spending six seasons (1998-2003) in Chicago’s football operations department including the last three (2001-03) as Director of Player Development.
Prior to rejoining the Bears, Joseph has spent eight years (2004-11) with the Miami Dolphins, serving as a pro scout in seven of those eight seasons. He also served as Miami’s Assistant Director of Pro Personnel in 2007."
Mark Dominik
The former Tampa Bay Buccaneers general manager is currently an ESPN analyst. McLane reports that Roseman spoke with Dominik but the former executive would rather work in television for now.
...
The Eagles are reportedly expected to make a final decision on their new personnel hire within the next week or two.
