I dont know Lebron, but I dont know if he ever really thought of Cleveland the same way Cleveland thought of him. He is a Bulls/Yankees/Cowboys fan. He really had no allegiance to Cavs other than being born there and being picked first. Now that doesnt excuse his actions over the past two weeks, I have no problem with him leaving, as I dont think others do, its just the way he did it.
I can't disagree with any of this. Especially that last sentence.

I HATE front running fans like Lebron. No balls.

IF these guys can co exist the Lakers are going to get smoked. Unless like MM said one of the three goes down. They have absolutely no depth and that is killer when they PO's roll around. Plus LeChoke has no more excuses if he doesn't produce in the PO's anymore.

I did like your post above about the Cavs owner. Assholes attract assholes.
      FRESH > cancer

I hate everything the Cowboys stand for. If you think they are America's team, then you support everything that is wrong with America. The excess, the greed, the lack of maturity, the lack of responsibility, the lack of control. - Luzinski's Gut

The next potentially annoying storyline is going to be all the veterans "rumored" to go to the Heat and what guys on their last legs will jump on this meal ticket for a quick ring.

Everyone is going to be "reporting" that so and so will sign there. As much as I want their roster to be filled with Dionte Christmas and Rasul Butler, you just get the feeling they are going to get somebody, whether its Mike Miller or Derek Fisher. I want to, but I dont know how you can blame them for taking less to go to a winner.

I am going to be a fan of every team they face and I hope the Lakers make some sort of move, b/c Ron Artest and Lamar Odom have no shot.

Can the owners get the players for collusion ?
We're looking for people that are fundamentally different,” vice president of player personnel Andy Weidl said Saturday night. “The love and passion for football, it's non-negotiable. They're caring, their character, they do the right thing persistently, and they have a relentless playing style that you can see on tape. The motor, it burns hot. You see them finishing plays. They have a team-first mentality. They're selfless individuals.

Barkley, Dominique and Ernie Banks are supposedly on the Heat's short list.
You know Darren if you'd have told me 10 years ago that someday I was going to solve the world's energy problems I'd have said your crazy.... now lets drop this big ball of oil out the window.

              http://www.cleveland.com/cavs/index....iamis_cou.html

Pretty much sums up what everyone thought

              - Had the idea during the Olympics
              - Riley the headmaster behind it all
              - Wade recruiting

That was why Riley was so amped up before his presentation to James in Cleveland a week ago. He packed up his seven championship rings, had his salary-cap specialists create displays to show how Florida taxes could save James money and brought along Alonzo Mourning to make an emotional pitch about how the team backed him up as he recovered from a kidney transplant.

It was also made known to James that the Heat would take care of his friends the same way the Cavs did -- special treatment at the arena, changing practice and travel schedules to allow for money-making late-night parties in various cities, and perhaps even hiring a James associate in a high-paying position in the organization.
The Bulls' chances were diminished for two central reasons. Wade wasn't willing to go to his own hometown. And the Bulls made it clear James' friends would not be given the privileges they were given in Cleveland or the high-paying jobs.

With the weather, his friends and glamour attracting him to Miami, and with just his hometown and hope that he could someday win a title alone in Cleveland, James was gone, breaking Cavs fans' hearts.

                From the same article

During a rally for Miami Heat fans Friday night, Chris Bosh said he had been talking with new teammates LeBron James and Dwyane Wade about the moment for months.

It was a slip, which some, including Bosh himself, caught. The premise that the trio had been talking about teaming up for months hinted there was a plan in place. That potentially would be against rules, and could raise concerns from the league since Bosh and James were playing for teams battling for the playoffs in Toronto and Cleveland

Despite being discouraged by Commissioner David Stern and perhaps breaking tampering rules again, Wade flew with Bosh to Akron to meet at James' house in the last week of June. Still under contract with the Heat, Wade got the other two to the brink of a deal to join up.
How do you try to punish that?

The fact that he is a 'Bulls/Yankees/Cowboys fan', IMO speaks volumes. What a schmuck!

Nike used to have the greatest commercials. Them and Gatorade commercials would really hype you up. Now they both suck.
