  • Dwight Clark dies at 61.

Dwight Clark died today at home among loved ones at age 61 from complications related to ALS.

Clark was a very good TE for the 49ers who will always have place in the hearts of Eagle's fans for "The Catch" that killed the hated Cowboys.

    May he rest in peace.

I recently read somewhere that DiBartolo had a big toodoo at his ranch in Montana for Clark. Invited (and paid for) any teammates to fly out and spend time with Clark.
Wait until next year is a terrible philosophy
      Hope is not a strategy
      RIP

That little mobster always did things right for his players. Each player got his own room on the road instead of having a roommate. Heck, maybe they all do now but it was a big deal back then. And the players all loved him back. They threw a $million birthday party for him about 10 years ago.
        "Hey Giants, who's your Daddy?"
